Happy Heart

Hypertension is a chronic disease, often presenting without symptoms. It is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease in all age- and ethnic groups, worldwide. The lack of symptoms is a major challenge when motivating patients to initiate and adhere to treatment as more direct and tangible problems in patients’ lives might receive priority. However, if left untreated, hypertension patients face a greatly increased risk of life-threatening or debilitating conditions such as myocardial infarction and stroke. The secondary consequences of hypertension are also related to considerable individual and societal financial costs. To overcome the obstacles related to the treatment of hypertension, Happy Heart will allow patients to:

  • Receive digital medical advice

    Avoiding unnecessary travel

  • Receive automated reminders

Avoiding the risk of neglecting treatment and follow-up

  • Access physical check-ups when necessary

    Ensuring efficient and state-of-the-art care

Early 2023 we launched Happy Heart, a platform for patients with hypertension. Happy Heart is a comprehensive mobile app for iOS and Android, designed to empower users in managing hypertension.
